| For this project I had to create an illustration for Christina Rossetti's "Goblin Market," a lengthy poem about two sisters who become involved with... well, a goblin market. The goblins in question try to ensnare people by tempting them with beautiful, sinfully delicious fruit, kind of like supernatural drug pushers. And if it seems vaguely erotic, that's alright... it is a vaguely erotic story. Especially when the... well, read it yourself. It's all over the place online. Try doing a search sometime. |
